Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Wash and slice the zucchinis thinly. Set aside.
Heat some olive oil in a pan, then sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
In a bowl, whisk together the cream and eggs. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.
Lightly grease a baking dish. Layer half the zucchini slices on the bottom.
Spread the ground beef mixture over the zucchini layer.
Add the remaining zucchini slices on top.
Pour the egg and cream mixture evenly over everything.
Sprinkle the grated cheese on top.
Bake for 30–35 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
