Zutaten

  • 800g potatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 head of broccoli, cut into small florets
  • 200ml cream
  • 200ml milk
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 150g grated cheese (Gouda or Emmental)

Anleitung

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Grease a baking dish with a bit of oil or butter.
  3. Layer the raw potato slices evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  4. Add the broccoli florets over the potato layer.
  5. In a bowl, mix cream, milk, garlic, broth powder, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  6. Pour the mixture evenly over the vegetables.
  7. Sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
  10. Let it cool a few minutes before serving.
