Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
Grease a baking dish with a bit of oil or butter.
Layer the raw potato slices evenly at the bottom of the dish.
Add the broccoli florets over the potato layer.
In a bowl, mix cream, milk, garlic, broth powder, salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg.
Pour the mixture evenly over the vegetables.
Sprinkle the grated cheese generously on top.
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 20–25 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
Let it cool a few minutes before serving.
